I went to Campfire last week and had a really enjoyable time helping a little girl and boy with thier homework. I was able to talk to a few girls about their day and just find out how thery were doing.
I love talking to the kids and seeing what they have been doing also! It is crazy how soon they open up to you and want to sit and tell you about EVERYTHING that is going on in their life!
That's so cool that you got to have personal conversations with little girls, imagine the impact you could have on them. Not necessarily bringing up Jesus (I don't think thats allowed in the afterschool program) but just listening and being a good example. I'm sure they look up to you so keep it up :)
That is awesome!It is really nice when the kids open up about what is going on in their lives. It helps them to trust you & take your help easier.
