ViSiT tO CaMpFiRe
Yesterday I was able to do another visit to campfire. While there I administered reading tests for the kids. They were given one minute to read off about 100 words. If they mis-pronounced them or skipped them I marked it. It was interesting to see the difference in reading ability between the kids. Some were at a totally different level than others. You can tell which students spend time outside of class to practice their reading.

I have read with the children before and it is very interesting to see them as they read and see how they either enjoy or don't like reading.
